Happy May Day

It looks like the last day of rain for a while. It's feeling like a friday for some reason.

Former NFL tight end Aaron Hernandez was indicted for assault for a jailhouse fight. He's still sitting in the can waiting for his murder trial so somehow I doubt if he really cares about this latest allegation.

I saw an interesting statistic that President Obama has only vetoed two bills his entire time in office. The only president to veto less was James Garfield in 1881 who never waived the veto pen. Of course, he was assassinated less than a year into his term so maybe the opportunity never arose.

An old rowboat washed ashore this week on the Washington state coastline. It's believed to be from the 2011 tsunami in Japan. Several other Japanese vessels have washed ashore in the Northwest portion of North America. Hopefully it won't take that long to find the missing Malaysia airliner but I'm starting to have my doubts if anyone has a clue to it's location.

I accompanied Krissy to Mayfair mall this afternoon. Neither one of us ended up buying anything which could be a first. We did have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. The Cuban rolls with mustard sauce was almost as good as the Cuban food in Key West.
