Pray For Buffalo

A decent start to August until the rain came at about 3pm. It's clearing up again so we shall see. I didn't start my new workout program with some running in the park followed by pushups and situps.

Katharine the Shark did have it's baby and is now out in the Gulf of Mexico. As you recall she has a GPS chip and every time her dorsal comes to the surface a satellite can tell you where she is. It seems strange that we can track a shark from space but we can't find an airplane sometimes.

We watched "The Butler" last night and it certainly was a great movie and I'm a tough critic. For the most part, it doesn't seem like we've come very far in the last 50 years. Maybe I watch too many talking heads on cable and the country is a nicer place than it's portrayed by them.

We're heading to Barnacle Bud's on the Milwaukee River for happy hour and some food tonight. It's a hard place to find. You go down some winding gravel road by a marina and then take a hard left to get there. It's actually hard to believe that it's in the city. It's very secluded and nestled back by the quiet part of the river.

The last thing the NFL needs is another big mouth attention loving hog of an owner. The Buffalo Bills had a first class owner who passed away last year. He ran the franchise as best as he could and they did go to 4 straight Super Bowls. Now the team is up for sale and Donald Trump has moved onto the next round selected by the NFL management. Please, don't bequeath this idiot on the good people of Buffalo!
